However, this time we went there not for ski and snowboard, but The Institute of Traditional Korean Cuisine(Jeong GangWon). This place was used as the main backdrop for the Korean drama 'Sikgaek' adapted from the famous work of the comic artist Heo Yeong-man. Jo Jeong-gang, who ran a renowned traditional restaurant named Dongchon for many years, opened this site, covering about 33,000 square meters, to exhibit the traditional Korean food culture. There is a food museum, a kitchen to learn how to cook Korean foods, a seminar room, a fermentation room, and a vegetable garden in this complex.
Here in Jeong Gang Won, i had my first try to do bimbibap~~~~~actually, i did nothing==but watched the teacher to prepare everything. As a meat lover, Bibimbap(mixed rice) is one of the food that is not in my list as it is full of vegetable. However,i like Bibimbap in Jeonju because there is meat inside. I would dare to say that Bibimbap in Jeong Gangwon is the best bibimbap i have ever tried other than the Jeonju Bbimbap.
The bibimbap +miyeok guk(seaweed soup)= perfect match!!!!
even though this bibimbap is all vege, i still enjoyed it. It changes my view about bibimbap!!Thumbs Up^^

Before the lunch(bibimbap), we were given chance to wear Korea Traditional Custom( Hanbok). Even though this was not my first time wearing Hanbok, i was still so excited.
It was really fun to be with all the Korea Rural Farm Tourism Supporters. Where to take the photos, what you wear, all do not matter, who you are with in the photograph is the most important thing to me!!Thank you to all the friends, u guys made my day:) We keep love in a photograph. memories last long!!!

After the lunch, we were heading to Uiyaji Village. At Uiyaji Wind Village, one can enjoy various types of winter activites such as sledding, sleigh-rides and even snow rafting, as well as making cheese and ice cream.
Due to lack of time we did not manage to enjoy the sight of wind-mills standing high above the frozen plain.TT
Theses photos are downloaded from the website. |
The view here is so pretty. i would pay a visit to there next time!!! |
We made our own pizza, ice cream and cheese at Uiyaji Village>>>>>>>>
pizza
We always eat pizza with cream or cola, but have you ever tried before to eat pizza with ice cream??? It might sounds weird to you at the first time, but it really tastes nice. i also could not believe that pizza and ice cream could match so nice!! Tasty
ICE CREAM
THE MILK IS THE FRESH MILK PRODUCED FROM THEIR OWN FARM!! 100% HEALTHY |
We added salt into the ice to make it freezes the ice cream more quickly. The flavour our group chose was vanilla~~~~ |
This is the final product!!Our master piece
Cheese
so pretty, right??? this is made by us~~hehe |
1st step: heat the milk with sow heat. |
2nd: we added something into the milk to make it condense( i forgot the name, sorry><). Then, pour all the solution into the container prepared. |
this is how it looks like after pouring into the special container. |
4: press hard onto the cheese to make it more concrete. |
after all the process, cheese is done!!it tastes good together with wine and corn chips or jam~~whoah, an enjoyment(<3)
